Jim Fitzsimmons has more than 22 years of experience in the area of healthcare financial services-the last seven in senior executive roles. Jim co-founded Ingram & Associates with Brent Teveit in 1998 and has been instrumental in growing the business and building a high quality staff that now includes over 200 healthcare financial specialists. Jim's primary responsibilities include overall business direction, sales and direction over Ingram's accounts receivable services operations. Prior to co-founding Ingram & Associates, Jim was the Division President of IPN Network, LLC, a Nashville-based company that managed the business offices for 22 hospitals. Jim was in charge of more than 500 employees and $3 billion in receivables for IPN clients. Before becoming Division President he supervised all field office and client support personnel. Jim also spent several years at First Data Corporation and as a senior executive was responsible for the development and ongoing management of a $4 million division specializing in Accounts Receivable Management. Jim has particular expertise in a wide range of healthcare financial services, collections, customer service, sales, marketing, and mergers & acquisitions.
Brent Teveit has 26 years of healthcare industry experience, the last dozen in executive management roles in four highly successful healthcare services and information businesses in Nashville, TN. With Jim Fitzsimmons, he is a co-founder of Ingram & Associates and is primarily responsible for overall business direction, technology and sales/marketing with specific focus on business development including Ingram's CVIR services group. Prior to Ingram & Associates, Brent founded and held the position of President & CEO of Criterion Health Strategies, which provided decision support and information warehousing systems to healthcare integrated delivery systems. In 1997 Criterion was purchased by HIE (now part of Quovadx). As a member of the executive team of Inforum-first as Senior VP of Sales and Marketing and then President, and member of Inforum's Board of DirectorsBrent helped make the company one of Nashville's most successful IPO's in the early 1990's. Inforum remains a recognized leader in strategic planning and marketing systems for healthcare. In 1993 Inforum merged with the Medstat Group that was subsequently purchased by Thomson Publishing. Earlier in his career Brent spent a number of years with HBO & Company (now McKesson HBOC) in Atlanta and held a variety of roles, most recently as Vice President, in the company's sales, customer service, and technology areas.
Dr Zielske is responsible for the overall direction of Ingram & Associates' Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiology (CVIR) Coding services group. He has more than fifteen years experience as an Interventional Radiology practitioner, including ten years as a coding reviewer and coding expert for his twenty-one-person radiology practice. In addition, Dr. Zielske is CEO of ZHealth and ZHealth Publishing, businesses specialized in services and professional manuals related to the special procedure coding field. Dr Zielske is currently affiliated with five Middle Tennessee hospitals: Skyline Medical Center, Summit Medical Center, Hendersonville Medical Center, Tennessee Christian Medical Center, and NorthCrest Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Radiology with additional certification in Angio/Interventional Radiology (ABR). A graduate of Oregon State University and Oregon State Sciences University School of Medicine, Dr Zielske completed his residency and fellowship at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Zielske is also founder and President of ZHealth, an organization that supports CVIR service delivery to the healthcare provider market. Dr. Zielske has also functioned as an independent CVIR coding consultant to a variety of physician groups and hospital providers across the country.
As Vice President for Ingram & Associates, Charles is responsible for Managed Care Payer Operations as well as outside vendor services for Ingram. He has fifteen years of healthcare financial services experience, specializing in billing, collection, managed care and business office service processes. Prior to Ingram & Associates, Charles was Vice President of Operations for IPN Network, LLC that managed hospital business offices on a contract basis. At IPN Charles was responsible for all support functions to Shared Service Organizations (SSO's), including: training and process development, regional consulting, development and education of action plans, development of SSO staff, implementation of all systems and procedures and tracking performance. Charles began his healthcare financial career running the Business Offices of Columbia Medical Center of SW Louisiana, Columbia Huntington Beach Medical Center, and Saint John's Hospital & Health Center.
As Senior Director of Operations for Ingram & Associates, Laurie is responsible for all aspects of service delivery for government, commercial, managed care and self pay services.
